Step by step installation process

1. Define the installation location
2. Install the fluidic line on the pipe and screw the sensor
3. Connect the sensor to the transmitter
4. Turn on the transmitter
5. Verify measurement

2. Install the fluidic line on the pipe and screw the sensor

2.1 Pre requisites

2.2 Install the fluidic line and plug the sensor

The fluidic line can be positionned as a derivation of the principal pipe. In that case the user needs to make sure there is always a flow rate in that derivation.

The fluidic line can also be positionned at any end point where we can consider lost water.

Please connect the fluidic line where the input and output has been prepared at step 1.

Pre requisites for sensor startup

3. Connect the sensor to the transmitter

The probe need to be in water during 1h before to be turned on (or plugged if the transmitter is running). A lower time in water can damaged the probe.

4. Update settings into the App

5. Turn on the transmitter

Start up the Hummbox transmitter.

6. Verify the measurement

Enforce one measurement to verify measurement and network.

7. Document and share your installation in the Hummbox application journal

Post pictures of your installation into the journal.
