Weather Station sensor installation guidelines

1. Select Installation Point

Choose a point to mount each part of the weather Station according to the WMO reccomendation :

Devices Orientation : 

• Northern Hemisphere :

The Anemometer must point to north to get correct wind direction values. Solar radiation sensor must be installed facing south for maximum sun exposure.   

• Southern Hemisphere :

The anemometer must point to north. Solar radiation must face North too. 

Do not install the raingauge under any object that can cover the rainwater inlet.

3. Wiring on the Box

After the Mounting process, please wire each sensor on the right connector on the bottom side of the transmitter.

4. Start the Hummbox transmitter

Start the Hummbox transmitter and fill the settings.

5. Test the sensor

For example : Make some movements on the anemometer and poor some water inside the raingauge.

Enforce one measurement  with a simple clic on the button to verify measurment and network. Check in the application if the measurement is relevant. >> Data & KPIs into the application

6. Post pictures of the installation in the journal

• Picture of the installation of the probe
• Picture of the probe 
• Picture of the location ( Think about someone who neeed to perform some maintenance action in the furture and need to find the probe).
• Tag "Installation"
